Dunsfold Park wins Urban Design Prize: The Masterplan for Dunsfold Park

Eco-village has been awarded the 2009 Francis Tibbalds Prize by the Urban Deign Group. SPA coordinated a number of firms to submit a planning application for Dunsfold Park in April 2008, including Pollard Thomas Edwards architects, winners of the Prize.

Dunsford Park shortlisted

Dunsfold Park’s Master Plan has been shortlisted for the Francis Tibbalds Prize. This prize is coordinated by URBAN DESIGN, the quarterly journal of the Urban Design Group, who will feature Dunsfold Park in the journal. SPA leads the planning team for this proposed new village of 6,000 residents in Surrey.

Award for Power Study

The Merseyside Tidal Power Study has won an award from the Association of Consulting Engineers. Buro Happold led this project, and received the award for “Engineering Excellence” on June 25^th 2008. As part of this study, SPA assessed the economic impacts and regeneration potential of various options for tidal power generation on the Mersey.
