Planning for the future

Caroline Keane, consultant with SPA, has started a two year part-time planning course at South Bank University. In the second year Caroline will be focusing on urban regeneration. She is supported by SPA on this course.

SPA launch new website

SPA's website has been redesigned to reflect the current workload of the firm. The redesign has been undertaken by Invisible Ink, who are also tenants in Erico House. We are pleased with what they have done and would welcome your comments on the contents, ease of use and presentation.

Dunsfold Park latest

Ian McDonald has recently particpated in the Examination in Public into the South East Regional Plan. He acted on behalf of Dunsfold Park Ltd and, with a number of other participants, was urging that the Plan provide a stronger positive approach to the sustainable development of the rural areas of the region. For Dunsfold Park Ltd this approach is underpinned by the sustainable development potential of Dunsfold Aerodrome and the opportunity to improve the labour supply, the availability of services, the provision of affordable housing and access to public transport for the surrounding Cranfold cluster of communities. The proposals for a new settlement were widely welcomed as a model for the Government's programme of Ecotowns.
